江揆視察衛武營 盼明年底試營運

行政院長江宜樺今日視察「衛武營藝術文化中心興建工程」時表示，該工程經費101億元，是我國規模最大的文化設施工程，也是佔地面積最大的文化設施場地。

未來在政府「一法人三場館」的規劃下，將可導入國內外優秀的表演藝術團隊，並有助於拓展南部地區的藝文人口，希望該中心能如期如質完工，並兼顧軟硬體規劃，讓工程與營運無縫接軌。

江揆指出，過去以來，中南部地區的文化教育及硬體建設資源不及北部地區，政府近年來致力於縮短城鄉落差及南北平衡，多年投入衛武營藝術文化中心興建工程計畫，非常期待該中心能在明年底試營運。

江揆強調，今年至明年是國家級表演藝術中心場館的重要豐收期，除了臺中歌劇院再過幾個月即將試營運，也希望衛武營藝術文化中心能在明年底如期開演，因為該中心不僅可引進國內外最好的表演藝術團隊，並培養在地團隊及藝術行政管理相關人才，帶動我國相關行業的師資培育及人才發展。
