《科技》慧榮推TLC NAND SSD控制晶片

【時報記者江俞庭台北報導】慧榮科技(NasdaqGS: SIMO)宣布，今於美國加州快閃記憶體高峰會展示新款SM2256 SATA 6Gb/s SSD控制晶片，為全球第一款搭載(革刃)體並支援全系列TLC NAND的控制晶片。慧榮表示，最新SM2256控制晶片，搭載獨有NANDXtend解錯修正技術，在多層解錯修正機制下，增加資料讀寫保護能力，大幅提升高達3倍的TLC NAND寫入/抹除的次數，為巿場最俱經濟效益的TLC SSD控制晶片決解方案。

慧榮科技總經理苟嘉章表示，這款SM2256控制晶片的推出，奠定慧榮科技在SSD控制晶片技術上的領先地位，更能順應巿場需求，提供給SSD OEM 客人最俱價格競爭力的解決方案。

IHS iSuppli首席分析師Michael Yang表示，預期2015年TLC SSD 將會有40% 以上的巿場佔有率。因為TLC NAND 的價格優勢，隨著慧榮所推出最新SM2256 TLC NAND SSD控制晶片解決方案，更能加速推動巿場走向TLC NAND SSD。
