前新黨立委姚立明出任無黨籍台北市長參選人柯文哲競選總幹事。姚立明今凌晨在臉書表示，決定接受柯P邀請，加入競選團隊，他考慮了很多因素，決定的關鍵是「想用這個行動來證明，台灣牢不可破的『藍綠對立』是可以改變的。」

姚立明說，柯文哲是二二八受難者家屬，他的父母則來自中國；柯文哲偏綠，他曾是新黨黨員；柯文哲是阿扁的醫師，他是倒扁紅衫軍的副總指揮。但是，兩人有一個共同點：不願坐視台灣被無止盡的「藍綠惡鬥」虛耗殆盡。

姚立明表示，他和柯文哲達成一個共識，就是要為台灣打造一個不問「藍綠顏色」，只重「是非黑白」的政府，而且要從台北市開始。他希望這次的台北市長選舉，不僅僅是一場選戰，也是遏止台灣政治繼續向下沉淪的公民運動。

柯文哲昨日受訪時說，他尋找總幹事的一個很重要的考慮因素，就是「互補性」，姚立明和他的互補性高，且兩人的邏輯清楚，可以論理談話，不會被意識型態綁住。
