〔自由時報記者林三豐／綜合報導〕對兩次捕手配球暗號搖頭，田中將大再次嘗到「2戰魔咒」的苦頭，昨天他力擋紅襪九局，結果被拿波里轟出超前陽春砲，洋基1：2落敗，田中苦吞完投敗，也是他本季第3敗，全都輸給第2次對戰的球隊。

田中完投九局用116球，被敲7安失2分，送出8次三振，輸球實非戰之罪，但他以「可能是我做過最糟的事」形容拿波里的關鍵一擊，「捕手想配指叉球和滑球，但我都搖頭。」直球引誘結果被逮個正著，田中表情相當失望，也是大聯盟首次2連敗。

拿波里用本季第10轟，報了前兩次被田中三振的仇，還被拍到與隊友擊掌時不斷說：「真是個蠢蛋！」拿波里澄清並非針對田中，這也是他第2次砲打田中。
