嘉義市北興國中「少年科技競賽」仿生機器人ＰＫ大戰登場，全市國中小參賽選手，用現場製作「萬獸之王」仿生機器人，進行接力、負重競賽。

嘉義市暑假重頭戲－創意諸羅城科學168 科學及創造力教育博覽會18日登場，昨天北興國中「少年科技競賽」仿生機器人ＰＫ大戰暖場揭幕，全市國中小130隊參賽選手，用現場製作「萬獸之王」仿生機器人，進行接力、負重競賽，場面熱烈。

上午爬坡接力賽，參賽選手發揮創意，在有限時間用冰棒棍、木板、齒輪、馬達材料，製作「向上、向下爬行」仿生機器人。

爬坡接力賽比的是爬上坡與下坡總花費時間，現場就有機器人爬不上20公分高長坡，只能在起跑線上空轉，部分機器人啟動後，就奮力往前衝，讓選手很開心；下午負重賽比機器人的負重能力。

帶領蘭潭國中學生在兩岸青少年科技競賽取得優異成績的教師楊元彰，率36名同學出賽，他說，青少年科技競賽是理論與實務結合，課本學到摩擦力、重力、連桿結構、槓桿原理等，不再是紙上理論，而是實際運用在仿生機械人身上。

「參賽隊伍人數年年增加！」北興國中設備組長吳皇毅說，比賽共有國中小130隊合計600人參加，獲特優隊伍作品將在科學168博覽會展出。
