泰國電子書教學 失敗喊卡

泰國前盈拉政府原希望透過「一人一電子書」的方式，讓學生能從平板電腦上，直接下載課文，解決學童買不起書本的困境，也一併改善國內印刷版課本良莠不齊、學校與印刷廠商從中揩油水的情況，並利用科技減少城鄉數位落差，但這項政策卻在2014年被泰國教育部緊急喊卡。

為了一人一電子書計畫，泰國教育局在2012年購置160萬台平板電腦，但在東北省分的學生還未拿到電子書前，教育部卻發現電子書使用的壽命短暫，時常添購增加許多預算支出，不適合長期當成教具，而學童長期使用也恐影響視力。

同時也有教育人士批評，電子書只是更改了文字的載具，並無法提升課文品質，而學校考試以死記為主，很難將電子書靈活融入教學。教育部雖然希望改善教育資源落差嚴重的問題，但許多邊鄉地區的小孩，就學率與到校率依舊低落，解決根本問題之前，發送電子書根本無濟於事。

2014年泰國政府決議終止電子書計畫，另行規劃設立智慧教室，預計2年內每所學校都能有電腦與網路的設備。
