攤開歷史，過去31次沒有任何球隊能從1：3逆境反敗為勝奪下金杯，現在壓力落到熱火身上。「閃電俠」韋德強調，從沒預期主場兩戰竟然1勝都沒拿下，「但我們也期待到聖安東尼奧，展現更好成果、試著拿下另場勝利。」

熱火試圖延長總冠軍戰，不過已有消息來源向美國「ESPN」透露，不論最終衛冕軍連霸與否，與詹姆斯球季結束是否跳出合約並無關聯。
