樂金首款智慧手表G Watch傳7月開賣

韓國時報報導，樂金電子（LG）計劃從7月起透過Google Play商店，販售旗下首款智慧手表G Watch。

樂金的主管說：「樂金可能25日於Google在舊金山舉辦的開發商大會上，發表首款智慧手表。這款智慧手表象徵著樂金與Google的合作關係更進一步。」

G Watch是所謂的參考裝置（reference device），代表Googler決定所有規格和設計細節，樂金只負責製造。這是樂金首度推出的穿戴式裝置，且樂金顯示器（LGD）擁有獨家供應權。

G Watch也是第一款採用Android Ware系統的裝置。Android Ware是Google專為穿戴式裝置開發的平台。

另外，G Watch將於9月柏林消費電子展（IFA）公開亮相。屆時樂金行動通訊事業總裁朴鍾錫將向大眾揭露公司的穿戴式裝置策略。

美國一家投資銀行駐南韓的資深基金經理人說：「樂金正從長久來的低迷中復甦。關鍵在於樂金能否把握投資時機，以擊敗比自己更強大的對手。到目前為止，樂金的產品在規格與設計方面仍具有競爭力，但其行銷策略是否有效有待商榷。」
