《國際產業》429億美元拍板，美敦力收購柯惠

【時報-記者柯婉琇綜合外電報導】美國醫療設備大廠美敦力（Medtronic）周日宣布，將以429億美元現金與股票收購同業柯惠（Covidien），並藉此機會將公司的行政總部遷至愛爾蘭，以享有海外較低的企業稅率。

美敦力表示，公司的營運總部仍將留在明尼蘇達州最大的城市－明尼阿波利斯（Minneapolis），並承諾未來十年內在美國投入的技術投資將擴大100億美元。

美敦力收購柯惠的消息最早在周六傳出。兩家公司合併後，將成為嬌生公司（Johnson & Johnson）的勁敵。
