蒙眼吃西瓜 老外湊熱鬧獲勝

〔自由時報記者花孟璟／花蓮報導〕花蓮玉溪農會產銷班農民發起「阿強西瓜節」，昨天舉行吃西瓜大賽之外，還有限定夫妻檔一起蒙眼吃西瓜的「西瓜很盲」比賽，來自英國的威廉夫婦和女兒到花蓮玩，臨時上場參賽，顧不得英國紳士淑女形象大口吞瓜，還意外獲勝、抱走一顆玉里大西瓜！

來自英國的喬治．威廉先生，和太太克利絲汀到亞洲旅遊，上週才結束香港行程，昨天下午經過花蓮玉里鎮的玉溪農會推廣展售中心，看到正在辦西瓜節也下車看熱鬧，當場被拱上台參賽，和西瓜農羅榮廣夫婦一起站上「西瓜很盲」擂台，用毛巾蒙眼合吃一片西瓜。

太太克利絲汀一開始還有點矜持，結果一嚐到又沙又甜的玉里大西瓜，顧不得形象也開懷大吃起來！結果這對英國夫妻吃西瓜的速度，竟然勝過在地的瓜農夫婦，盲吃西瓜PK賽獲勝！
