克魯茲第20轟 太空人連勝斷

暫居聯盟全壘打王的金鶯克魯茲(Nelson Cruz)，1日迎戰太空人敲出本季第20轟，單場貢獻3打點，助球隊終止客場4連敗，金鶯總教頭休瓦特(Buck Showalter)賽後也不吝給子弟兵讚美，認為克魯茲的近況相當理想。

曾因使用禁藥遭罰50場禁賽，名聲也因此跌到谷底的克魯茲，本季披上金鶯戰袍捲土重來。此役首局就用犧牲打助球隊取得1分領先，8局上再補上一發陽春砲，金鶯終場以4比1拿下勝利。

「他把球打得深遠，場上也很專注」休瓦特直言，即便克魯茲上季曾禁藥問題纏身，「但很多人在他這個年紀就開始認清自己是誰，並且從錯誤中學習。」

開季20轟，目前也暫居打點王的克魯茲，也知道要維持穩定性並不容易，「我只能照自己的節奏，並用在每一天的比賽。」此役贏球也讓金鶯回到5成勝率，克魯茲相信金鶯的打擊實力足以抗衡，「一切只是時間問題。」

金鶯此役靠著對方先發投手庫契爾(Dallas Keuchel)控球不穩，5局上2度保送，不費吹灰之力擠回2分。反觀陣中先發投手提爾曼(Chris Tillman)繳出優質先發，6.2局被敲4安僅失1分，提爾曼也成功拿下本季第5勝。

與太空人4連戰的最後一場，金鶯將派出我國好手陳偉殷掛帥先發，於2日凌晨2點迎戰前隊友、目前3勝2負防禦率3.02的費德曼(Scott Feldman)。
