啥？公司沒錢途 股票卻貴

美國有家公司18年前成立至今沒有一年盈餘，但股票「貴桑桑」，而且執行長去年薪水竟然是營收的五成以上。它是哪一家看遠不看短的網路公司還是高科技公司? 答案是: 它只是一家傳統產業。

總部位於德州休士頓的Cheniere能源公司去年營收只有2.67億美元，執行長蘇奇的總薪酬卻高達1.42億美元(約台幣42.6億元)，讓甲骨文 (Oracle)的艾利森相形見絀。艾利森去年拿7600萬美元，名列美國三百大企業榜首。

Cheniere不只對執行長很大方，還要以股票留住人才。該公司已要求股東同意在未來五年分3000萬股給員工，這些股票至少價值19億美元。

蘇奇當年認為美國會缺乏天然氣，於是興建儲存設施，準備進口天然氣。不過，隨著水力裂解法等開採技術出現，美國天然氣產量大增，蘇奇把目標改為出口。蘇奇賭對了。該公司最快明年可開始出口天然氣。

美國政府周四宣布，將簡化液化天然氣出口審核流程。Cheniere進而在周五宣布，和西班牙Iberdrola公司簽署20年的液化天然氣供應協議。後者初步將每年購買40萬公噸天然氣，稍後提高一倍。
