受到鋒面影響，全台各地皆有下雨，沒想到這場午後大雨也讓台中傳出災情，根據《TVBS》報導，台中大甲民生地下道因大雨造成嚴重積水，水深約一輛車的高度，也導致一部自小客車受困其中，車上有母子三人，警消獲報後趕往救援，兩位小孩安全救出，但負責開車的媽媽則已經沒有生命跡象。
