詹皇領軍罷賽？公會又改口

面對「罷賽」與否的重大壓力，天王球星詹姆斯(LeBron James)顯然還是決定低調些。日前公開表示，「如果史特林(Donald Sterling)下個賽季仍是快艇老闆，LBJ將會『領軍罷賽』！」的球員公會副主席梅森(Roger Mason Jr.)隔了一天便改口澄清，「我的錯，詹姆斯從來沒說過這種話。」令人有些霧裡看花。

就在日前出席全美知名體育訪談秀主持人羅姆(Jim Rome)節目時，身為詹姆斯前隊友，目前也是NBA球員公會副主席的梅森語出驚人表示，「已經和LBJ在休息室談過，也達成共識，只要下個賽季史特林仍不退位，詹姆斯將會領導聯盟其他選手進行罷賽行動。」

此勁爆言論一出，自然成為全美體育頭條，也引發許多正、反面討論。但隨後梅森即於個人推特發表多篇言論，全盤否認了自己的言論，也表示LBJ絕對沒有答應罷賽。

梅森寫道，「讓我好好澄清，是我的錯，因為我沒說清楚。LBJ從來沒說過任何有關『罷賽』的言論。他是我的朋友，而我絕對不會暗指他說了某些從未說過的話。」

「底線就是我們的聯盟主席、球隊老闆、球迷乃至於球員們，都同意聯盟不應該有種族歧視者的位置存在。」梅森寫道。

從梅森一連發出4則貼文，不難看出他急欲替LBJ澄清的作法。美國《CBS運動網》也提到，按照目前季後賽的緊張情勢，詹姆斯當時應該仍是優先專注於與布魯克林籃網的第2輪賽事，不至於立即作出如此「勁爆」的言論表態。
