攻人工智慧 百度有請吳恩達

（路透舊金山16日電）中國最大網路搜尋引擎百度雇用谷歌（Google）前任人工智慧（AI）長吳恩達（Andrew Ng），帶領百度研究如何將巨量資料利用到淋漓盡致。

百度今天說，已經在矽谷設置新的人工智慧實驗室，在北京則有深度學習實驗室（原深度學習研究院）和北京大數據實驗室，都將由吳恩達負責。

百度在加州山景市（Mountain View）谷歌總部附近剛剛啟用的研發園區，宣布這項任命。吳恩達2011年在山景市創立並領導「深度學習」（Deep Learning）精英團隊。

深度學習指的是讓機器能夠像人腦一樣運作並處理大量資料。

谷歌、臉書（Facebook）與微軟（Microsoft）等公司一直在研究，如何讓人工智慧分析巨量資料，以便提升電腦辨識人臉、物體或學習語言的能力。中央社（翻譯）
