沙烏地增5死 MERS全球奪171命

沙烏地阿拉伯昨天宣布，新增5起中東呼吸症候群（MERS）死亡病例，自2012年MERS在沙國現蹤以來，境內死亡人數達157人。

沙國衛生部並表示，新增16起感染病例，境內感染總數達到511人。據世界衛生組織（WHO）數據，全球有571起MERS感染病例，其中171人死亡。

研究發現，駱駝為可能的原始傳染源，沙國農業部呼籲，民眾接觸駱駝前必須戴口罩和手套。

然而有愈來愈多病例是醫護人員或是治療MERS的醫院內患者間傳染。世衛呼籲改善院內感染控制。
