當今大聯盟第一強投是誰？如果有人說是6勝0敗的田中將大，恐怕紅人隊的球迷會激烈抗議，因為今天他們的王牌投手奎托(Johnny Cueto)，對教士演出完投完封，拿下本季第4勝，自責分率降到可怕的1.25，不但在全聯盟第一，他也成為自1909年之後，這一百多年來，第一位開季前9場先發，至少都投7局，而且失分都在2分以內的巨投。

28歲的Johnny Cueto，去年因傷所苦，只投了60.2局，今年健康出賽，展現了巨投本色，本季前八場先發，失分都在2分以內，自責分率僅1.43，今天在主場和教士雙重賽的白天場，Cueto球路依然犀利以Cueto目前的表現，如果不是因為紅人打擊不幫忙，他應該早已拿下七八場勝投了，今天教士在他完投九局的壓制之下，僅敲出3支零星安打，沒有得到任何分數，還吞下8K，而Cueto的隊友，這次很幫忙。

教士先發投手Ian Kennedy看傻了，他主投7局被敲11支安打，失掉5分，吞下本季第5敗，九局上半，教士最後反攻機會，Cueto雖然被攻佔二壘，但不慌不忙終場，紅人5：0獲勝，Cueto九局完投完封，拿下第4勝，自責分率也降到1.25，領先全聯盟，本季3場完投，2場完封，也都是第一，同時，他也是自1909年之後，一百多年來，第一位開季前9場先發，都至少投7局，而且失分都在2分以內的巨投。民視新聞 綜合報導
