18年老將 蘋果公關柯頓退休

（中央社台北2014年5月8日電）彭博報導，美國蘋果公司全球企業通訊副總裁柯頓（Katie Cotton）將退休。柯頓是已故蘋果公司共同創辦人賈伯斯（Steve Jobs）的長年親信，協助蘋果制定與新聞媒體打交道的策略。

賈伯斯生前所到之處，常常可見柯頓身影，她也是現任執行長庫克（Tim Cook）身邊的左右手。

柯頓身處幕後，幫助蘋果（Apple Inc. US-AAPL）營造一貫的神秘作風。

蘋果高層主管都是選擇性地接受訪問，通常要媒體同意給予電視或雜誌封面主要版面，才會受訪。蘋果也訂定嚴格規定，禁止一般員工接受媒體採訪。

蘋果發布聲明表示，柯頓「過去18年都貢獻給公司」，「現在要花些時間陪伴孩子」。（譯者：中央社林亭儀）
