火狐開發商 任命代理執行長

（中央社台北2014年4月15日電）彭博報導，火狐（Firefox）網頁瀏覽器開發商謀智公司（Mozilla）指派畢爾德（Chris Beard）擔任代理執行長，接替遭批捐款給反同志婚姻組織而下台的艾克（Brendan Eich）。

畢爾德為創投公司Greylock Partners駐任執行長，也曾任謀智公司行銷長。

謀智公司執行董事長貝克（Mitchell Baker）表示：「Chris有相當清楚的遠見，知道如何將謀智公司的企業理念轉為產品創意與活動。」

聖克拉拉大學（Santa Clara University）網路道德專案計畫主持人雷顧（Irina Raicu）表示，謀智公司董事會在艾克請辭後先找來代理執行長，是聰明的舉動。

雷顧說：「新執行長的挑戰，就是將焦點拉回謀智公司的理念，也就是提供有別於其他網路巨擘的選項。」（譯者：中央社蕭倩芸）
