抗議3年仍無效　WHA仍稱我中國一省

外交部國組司司長周台竹今早表示，世界衛生大會(WHA)今年再度致函邀請我國衛生署長邱文達參與5月19到24日在瑞士舉行的大會。周說我國以「中華臺北」（Chinese Taipei）的名義參加，但WHA內部仍以「台灣，中國一省」（Taiwan，Province of China）稱呼我國，外交部抗議三年，仍沒有結果，會持續抗議。

WHA和中國的密函，稱我國為中國一省，周台竹說「這點我國完全無法接受」，每年都致函WHA秘書處，以及請友邦幫我發言，但對方目前都沒正面回應，稱我們不是聯合國的會員。他坦言，要改名很困難，但不能如願就繼續表達。邱文達今年將在WHA發表演說，我國官員也會參加會議，與各國官員交換意見，今年我國還跟世界醫生會有合作活動。（陳郁仁／台北報導）
