昌平派出所 落腳昌平國小裡

新莊副都心正在持續開發，大量人口將陸續移入，新莊警分局考量增設昌平派出所，日前終於確定要在新莊昌平國小的一塊校地上落腳，聽說派出所將要蓋在學校裡頭後，小朋友說，「有警察伯伯在應該會很安全。」

新莊警分局表示，副都心陸續有大型建案，加上中央聯合辦公大樓及未來的電影文化中心等建設，勢必得增設派出所。

昌平所落腳地原本預定要蓋在昌平國小對面的公園，卻遭民眾抗議，後來才與教育局達成共識，在昌平國小內一處約250坪的閒置校地建設。

昌平派出所最快預計明年開始設計動工，將會是一間4層樓高的派出所，位在昌平路與富貴路交叉口，將進駐35名員警，並視勤務狀況在做調整，最多50人。

昌平國小校長張信務說，警方原就有「護童專案」，就是讓下勤務的員警在學校上下學時，到學校附近來幫忙做交通導護的工作，但是距離最近的派出所都要2公里遠，「昌平派出所成立的話，學童也會比較安全。」
