「只得23分」雷帝紀錄中斷

雷霆昨以107比92輕取國王，但「雷帝」杜蘭特卻在僅打3節比賽情況下只得到23分，連續超過25分以上的場次停留在41場。

杜蘭特自1月6日與塞爾提克之役得21分後，中間只有1場比賽缺席，直到昨役賽前已連續41場得分超過25分，改寫「籃球大帝」喬丹保持的連續40場紀錄，但距離「大帥」張伯倫保有的連續80場NBA紀錄還差一大截。

杜蘭特整場比賽僅出手13次命中8球，得分效率相當高，23分、4籃板、4助攻，雷霆在他的帶領下打完前3節奠定領先優勢，第4節樂得在板凳區當啦啦隊。

杜蘭特賽後表示，「每次比賽結束後我總是收到不少簡訊，很高興這一切都已結束，我不在乎這項紀錄，只要能幫助球隊獲勝，個人榮耀皆可捨棄。」

杜蘭特本季至目前為止每場平均貢獻32.1分、7.6籃板、5.6助攻，可望成為史上第4位、第5次單季32分、7籃板、5助攻的球員，其中最近2位單季有此優異表現的張伯倫和喬丹都拿下當年MVP殊榮。

小牛95比83擊敗爵士拿下4連勝，「德國佬」諾威茲基攻下21分，生涯總得分26714分，超越歐斯卡羅賓生(Oscar Robertson)成為NBA得分榜史上第10人。
