barron`s.com報導,J.P.摩根分析師Rod Hall 8日發表研究報告指出,在前幾代的A系列處理器中,蘋果在導入更為精細的奈米製程技術時,主要專注在縮小晶粒尺寸(die size)方面;這雖能延長電池壽命、縮小裝置體積,但在運算效能的提升上卻受到限制。針對A7,蘋果決定改變規則,不但略為增加晶粒尺寸,還把製程技術從32奈米縮小至28奈米。
