在電影《博物館驚魂夜》中，扮演想謀奪館藏三老之一的米基魯尼（Mickey Rooney），日前與世長辭，享年93歲，目前死因尚未公布，但據報導，近年他長期受到病痛煎熬。

米基魯尼一生幾乎都奉獻給演藝事業，17個月大就獲安排入行演戲，由1926年至2010年，已拍過200多部電影，代表作包括《孤兒樂園》（Boys Town）、《衣錦榮歸》（Andy Hardy Comes Home）及《黑神駒前傳》(The Black Stallion)等，總票房超過30億美元。

他也是20年代風靡好萊塢的男星，是好萊塢黃金時代最有票房號召力的演員之一，曾獲得奧斯卡終身成就獎，2個金球獎及1個艾美獎。他曾經歷8段婚姻，育有9名子女。

米基魯尼曾經在訪問中提到，他過世後的墓誌銘上，希望被刻上什麼字，他當時表示 「I tried.」（我嘗試過）。
