巴西再升息一碼

食品物價激漲加劇通貨膨脹擴大的威脅，巴西央行2日再提高基準利率一碼，從10.75%提高到11%。巴西在不到一年間，已升息3.75個百分點。

【中央社╱台北3日電】

彭博報導，由於食物價格勁揚，致通貨膨脹連兩年超過目標範圍機率上升，巴西中央銀行升息，延續全球最長利率緊縮週期。

以總裁東比尼（Alexandre Tombini）為首的巴西央行理事會昨決議，將基準貸款利率（Selic rate）由10.75%調高至11%，符合彭博訪調57位經濟家預測。

巴西發生10年以來最嚴重旱象，導致作物生長收成受到影響，並對2010年來即超過目標的通膨增添壓力。

巴西決策官員在不到1年內，將借貸利率調高375個基點或3.75%。

西班牙對外銀行（Banco Bilbao VizcayaArgentaria）首要經濟家杜桑托斯（Enestor DosSantos）說，儘管巴西央行在2月的上次會議中暗示將減半升息幅度，但3月中旬食物價格勁揚，意味著升息減半可能還言之過早。
