兩岸服貿卡在立法院，馬英九總統接見獅子會幹部時以台紐經濟合作協定為例，說明雙邊貿易的好處，但卻口誤將「鹿茸」比做「鹿耳朵裡面的毛」，引發網路熱議。

馬總統說，我國與紐西蘭簽訂自由貿易協定生效後，去年十二月，紐西蘭賣給我國的增加百分之卅七，我國賣給紐西蘭增加百分之一百廿，雙邊貿易增加百分之七十三，是過去無法想像的。台紐隔這麼遠，我們吃得到他們的奇異果、奶粉，但我們很多工業產品能賣過去，百分之九十九的貨品都包在內，部分敏感項目則採逐年降稅。

他還說，「紐西蘭還出一種很有名的東西叫鹿茸，鹿耳朵裡面的毛」，台灣也生產，也有七百位鹿農，雖會受影響，但可以想辦法市場區隔，台灣生產較高檔的，紐西蘭是比較普通的，分年減稅，這樣受影響很小。

馬總統誤把鹿茸當成鹿耳朵的毛，引發網路熱議。農委會主委陳保基昨天被媒體詢問知不知道鹿茸時說：「知道啊，是鹿的角」。媒體追問陳保基，要不要幫馬總統上一堂「認識鹿茸課」？他尷尬笑說，「他（馬）不可能講這樣的事情，他（馬）很清楚鹿茸是什麼，不可能搞錯。」
