馬航失聯 美官員：應在印度洋

美國國防部官員今天繼續向媒體透露，馬來西亞航空失聯班機極有可能墜毀於印度洋海底，美方因此決定出動船艦前往調查。

美國國防部官員向多家美國媒體表示，失蹤多日的馬航客機極有可能位於印度洋某處海底。美方因此決定將搜尋船艦調派至印度洋。

美國資深官員在白宮例行簡報後，持續向美國媒體說明美方調查進度。官員指出，馬航MH370波音777型客機調頭飛行，最後在雷達螢幕上消失後，每小時持續向衛星發送遠端訊號。

波音獨有的飛機健全管理（AHM）系統，強調飛行期間會自行處理異狀，系統每小時會向衛星傳遞遠端訊號，傳遞次數可顯示飛機可能的飛行時數。

官員並未說明訊號是否仍在發送，或同時可判斷馬航客機飛行方向與機體位置，不過資料未見緊急迫降訊號，美方仍在研判馬航客機可能遭遇的情況。
