馬英九法鼓山種樹 讚台減碳有成

植樹節中樞植樹紀念活動，今天上午在新北市金山區法鼓山園區舉行，總統馬英九率領中央部會官員及新北市長朱立倫，種下18棵蘭嶼羅漢松，提倡植樹造林，重視環境保育。

馬英九表示，今天是國父孫中山的逝世紀念日，當初國父在推展實業計畫特別強調，造林是民生建設的重要項目，而他也引用孟子及荀子的文章說明，早在2500年前，古人就已闡述植樹及環保的重要性，「我們不做的話（植樹），就是愧對祖先」。

他也說，台灣過去六年來積極推動植樹造林，因為造林的關係，台灣減碳工作效果顯著，「台灣人口占全世界不到千分之三，但排碳卻接近百分之一」，日前英國官員訪台，也對此表達肯定。
