泰晤士報世界大學排行　臺大退13名

英國泰晤士報高等教育特刊公布世界最佳大學排行榜，美國加州理工學院蟬聯第1名，美國哈佛大學、英國牛津大學位居第2、第3名，臺灣的大學只有國立臺灣大學在前200名，位居第155名，比去年退步13名。

英國泰晤士報高等教育特刊公布2014-2015世界最佳大學排行榜，前5名依序為美國加州理工學院、美國哈佛大學、英國牛津大學、美國史丹佛大學及英國劍橋大學，全球前200最佳大學，臺灣只有臺大進入前200大，排名從去年142名下降為155名，臺大研究發展處研發長李芳仁教授表示，其實臺大總分提升並沒有下降，而是全球其他大學進步太快，投入經費加碼，未來將繼續努力加強產學合作，增加國際能見度，讓論文重質不重量。教育部高教司長黃雯玲表示，排名只是參考，近年來高教方向調整，不再過度重視論文數量而強調品質，盼能從落後指標找出加強方向。

這次調查顯示，亞洲地區排名最好是第23名的日本東京大學，新加坡國立大學名列第25名，香港大學第43名，中國大陸北京大學第48名，清華大學第49名，韓國首爾大學第50名，除了臺大外，臺灣的大學有清華大學、交通大學在前300大，成功大學、中山大學、臺灣科技大學則在前400大。
