92歲退伍軍人李文經，不拿刀槍改拿回收紙、四色牌，做起回收紙藝；88歲的陳金葉精通台語、會說日語不識國字，卻寫出一手好書法。

世博台灣文創館昨天起，展出各式各樣長輩作品，供民眾欣賞。新竹市社區現有29個據點，月底前第30個據點將成立，各據點的長輩們，昨天拿出平時製作的手工藝參展，月底前每周六、日還有「周末手作教室」。

社會處長武麗芳表示，長輩們平時在關懷據點所作的手工藝令人驚豔，更顯示長輩的健康狀況極佳，對於末梢神經很有幫助。

士官退伍的李文經，去年暑假開始學做回收藝術，他說，見到一堆包裝紙被拿去丟棄，實在浪費，閒暇之餘拿起包裝紙、月曆、餅乾桶蓋子，一點一滴地完成藝術品。

「消磨時間啦！」李文經說，年紀大了沒有地方好走，在家裡就拿起廢紙，做起回收藝術。完成的作品都放在家裡「看著心情就很好」。

寫得一手好書法的陳金葉，其實國語說得「不輪轉」，她說，剛開始寫書法時，是跟在老師身旁「一筆一畫」學，一星期只跟著老師學90分鐘，回家後再利用時間專研書法。
