台灣國民幸福指數 續居亞洲第一

主計總處今天(29日)發布國民幸福指數，2014年台灣24項國際指標綜合指數為6.93分，比去年提高0.29分，和OECD的34個會員國以及2個夥伴國巴西以及俄羅斯相比，在37國中位居第18，較去年前進1名，屬於中段班；但是在亞洲國家中的幸福感排名持續位居榜首。
在24項國際指標中，「每人可支配所得」等3項，以購買力平價(PPP)換算的指標及「學生認知能力」等，分數明顯提升，共10個指標排名居於前20%；但「空氣污染」及「水質滿意度」2個指標仍居於後20%，其餘12個指標則居於中間60%。
