17年前曾躲過氣爆劫　殉職警消救7條命

17年前鎮興橋氣爆案，高雄市消防局苓雅分隊小隊長黃國棟和成功分隊小隊長王中，在學長掩護下躲過火劫；17年後，黃國棟在氣爆前要弟兄先撤離，自己隨後遭炸開的石頭砸中殉職。

今日出版的《聯合報》報導，苓雅分隊另名小隊長李啟峰與黃國棟同寢室又同勤務班，李說，氣爆前，黃國棟曾唸著「不對勁，好像聞到鎮興橋的味道，很危險」。

李啟峰說，黃國棟原本可以跟他們退到待命區，他為了叫前鎮分隊另3名兄弟也趕快撤離，停了一下，遭炸開的石頭砸中，他手一揮救了7條命，自己卻殉職。（陳亮諭／綜合報導）
