醫病兼醫心 北港媽祖醫院創舉

（中央社記者葉子綱雲林縣2014年7月22日電）北港媽祖醫院是全台唯一在院內設置媽祖廟的醫院，醫病兼醫心，吸引就醫民眾或家屬膜拜，院方今天出示靈籤，增添佳話。

俗稱北港媽祖醫院的中國醫藥大學北港附設醫院，在院內設置媽祖廟，吸引就醫民眾或家屬膜拜，慰藉心靈，院長林欣榮說，有善心人士發願設置籤筒，印製「媽祖醫院 天上聖母」靈籤，又是全台醫院首見。

林欣榮指出，醫者父母心，不只醫病還要醫心，院方尊重病人宗教信仰，有許多患者是「媽祖」介紹來的，醫院提供多樣化服務，也讓患者及家屬可就近得到心靈慰藉，也是美事一樁。

他說，包括頭部外傷、中風、失智症、巴金森症等腦神經患者，經過北港媽祖醫院中西醫團隊合作，恢復良好，再加上「媽祖」心靈支持，患者有更堅強信心，「讓許多不可能變成可能」。

北港媽祖醫院是20多年前由北港朝天宮捐贈興建，林欣榮感謝朝天宮及醫療團隊，為沿海鄉親帶來醫療照護，減少舟車勞頓到外地就醫，這是「媽祖」為鄉親帶來之福。

林欣榮也感謝善心人士印製靈籤，但他表示，醫院並無專人管理，如果民眾抽靈籤到最後一張，請發心自行印製補齊，讓更多人分享「天上聖母」靈籤。
