護國神柱發威 巴西闖世足8強

巴西16強首戰，面對過去世界盃有壓倒性勝利的智利，不料逼到PK戰才3:2勝出，陣中的老將施薩(Julio Cesar)在PK戰連擋兩球，加上門柱幫忙，成功帶領巴西晉級8強。

施薩上半場被桑契斯(Alexis Sanchez)攻破一球，但下半場成功擋下智利幾次射門，將比賽成功帶入延長賽，延長賽氣力放盡的智利，皮尼拉(Mauricio Pinilla)在PK戰前的射門中柱，拯救巴西一命。

PK戰中施薩相當神勇，先擋下皮尼拉的射門，之後又成功擋下桑契斯的射門，報了上半場被進球的一箭之仇，最後第5點，智利射門中柱，延長賽加PK戰，智利兩度中柱，加上施薩PK戰前兩點的精彩撲救，讓巴西擺脫智利威脅。

年紀34歲的施薩，生涯擁有相當輝煌的成就，5次義甲、3次義大利盃、4次義大利超級盃冠軍，不過近幾年表現並不得志，原本加盟的英超QPR卻被降級，希望尋求更多舞台的施薩轉會到被認為聯賽實力比較弱的MLS，加盟多倫多FC，繼續延續他的職業生涯。

當時2012年施薩被選進國家隊，讓他驚訝了一下，本屆世界盃巴西總教練斯科拉里(Luiz Scolari)沒有忘記這名門將，依然把他找進國家隊，並給予先發任務，而施薩也不負眾望，小組賽僅丟2球，更重要的是幫助巴西在16強先過智利的難關。

去年施薩曾幫助巴西拿下聯合會盃冠軍，本屆世界盃是他第三度參與，從未嘗過世界盃冠軍美夢的他，絕對要在這生涯的尾聲努力爭取榮譽。
