聽障生當志工 變得開朗自信

聽障高瑋良從小個性封閉，自擔任圖資中心志工後，變得開朗又自信。

19歲的高瑋良，疑因早產又發燒導致聽障，從小個性封閉，不敢與外人接觸，讓父母十分擔憂。自擔任圖資中心志工後，努力克服聽力障礙，積極與人群接觸，瑋良勇敢突破自我，變得開朗又自信，今年考上高雄應用大學。

瑋良的母親懷雙胞胎，瑋良因早產，小時候常感冒、發燒，身體瘦弱，3、4歲時疑似聽不到聲音，父母才驚覺不對勁，經檢查發現他一耳完全聽不見，另一耳重聽，聽力逐漸退化中。

因瑋良聽不到，導致他內向、怕生，很少結交朋友，也不喜歡外出，常一人躲在家中打電動，在人群中也總躲在最後面。

三年前，瑋良與雙胞胎哥哥相偕到圖資中心擔任志工，每周六日早上八點半就報到，開始整理環境、協助借還書與整理書架，即使哥哥提早放棄了，瑋良仍每周準時來幫忙。

圖資中心職員黃彩敏表示，瑋良一開始相當內向、被動，遇到問題也不敢提問，經過半年訓練後，他化被動為主動，現在不僅是中心的最佳小幫手，連民眾也誇獎他「認真又熱心」。
