宣示主權 陸西沙永興島興建學校

大陸海南省三沙市在永興島修建首所學校，分析認為，這是大陸在南海爭議升溫時加強宣示主權的舉措之一。

新華社報導，永興學校項目總投資人民幣3600餘萬元，工期一年半；建成後將解決西沙群島所有駐島軍警民適齡兒童入學問題。目前，島上適齡兒童只有40名。

三沙市是大陸最年輕的城市，歷史只有兩年，管轄南海西沙群島、中沙群島、南沙群島的海域和島礁，是迄今世界上管轄區域面積最大的城市、不過常住人口很少，只有1000多人，主要包括共軍海軍駐島部隊、常住以及過往漁民。

三沙市政府駐地永興島距離海南島約350公里。永興島因地理位置和面積有優勢，曾被認為是中共銳意打造的「南海不沉航母」。大陸當局成立三沙市，將南海爭議海域範圍納入三沙市管轄時，曾引起菲律賓、越南、美國的強烈抗議和不滿。

永興學校項目還包括三沙市與國家文物局合作建設的「國家水下遺產保護中心三沙考古工作站」。
