懷抱希望 全球終結衝突地區性暴力峰會閉幕

在倫敦召開的全球終結衝突地區性暴力高峰會13日閉幕，來自國際社會的支持，讓從索馬利亞到科索沃等衝突地區的數百名參與者受到鼓舞。
美國國務卿凱瑞(John Kerry)告訴與會者，現在正是消除性暴力的時候了，「我們不會容忍讓強暴成為一種戰爭和恫嚇的手段。」
由好萊塢女星安潔莉娜裘莉(Angelina Jolie)與英國外務大臣赫格(William Hague)共同主持，包括活動人士、強暴倖存者和外交官員共同參與的全球終結衝突地區性暴力高峰會，13日結束為期4天的會議。
安潔莉娜裘莉在會中表示，在波士尼亞戰爭時，有多達5萬名婦女淪為戰爭的性暴力受害者，但僅有60多人受到法律制裁，她曾與多名倖存者見面，她們唯一要求就是「正義」。
與會者相信，他們能在起訴犯罪者和保護受害人方面，做出更長足的進步，特別是在開發中國家和衝突地區。
主辦單位表示，有155個國家簽署了在衝突地區致力終結性暴力的宣言，還有包括美國、英國在內的許多國家，也都誓言將會提供資助。
索馬利亞代表馬哈梅(Deeq Mohamed)說，儘管他知道要嚴懲戰區的性犯罪不是簡單的事，但來自全球的支持仍讓他受到鼓舞。
