收割「愛心米」 中鋼老總帶隊

中鋼集團與鴻海集團的杉林區永齡有機農場合作，今年初契作2分地水稻，以協助莫拉克風災災民。水稻昨天收成，總經理宋志育帶隊割稻子，體驗「誰知盤中飧，粒粒皆辛苦」的感受，以及品嘗「愛心米」。

宋志育、中鋼行政副總經理李雄一行約60人，昨天「全副武裝」進稻田；個個戴斗笠、手套、拿鐮刀，聽取指導人員解說割稻子的分解動作後，一字排開，從水稻莖部下手。

豔陽高照，「割稻團」成員的汗水一顆顆落地，一旁的金黃色稻穗堆慢慢堆高起來；他們大多是第一次割稻子，深刻體驗到「米容易吃、稻子難割」。近中午完成收割，中鋼員眷採購的有機便當也被吃到「一粒不剩」。

長期投入公益的中鋼集團，響應莫拉克風災重建工作，和鴻海集團攜手，在永齡農場契作，以提供遭受風災的原住民工作機會。

1月25日由李雄帶領員眷到農場插秧，4個多月來，農場不定期將稻子成長照片上傳至網路雲端，供參與契作的中鋼同仁了解；員眷也不定期在假日赴農場，關心親手栽種的稻作。
