敵隊出局 波波維奇仍讚雙槍

在西區冠軍賽與馬刺拚戰6場後，年輕的雷霆隊最終仍是黯然出局，不過球隊的好表現仍得到自己與對方教練的認可，其中馬刺教頭波波維奇(Gregg Popovich)就誇讚「雷霆雙槍」是聯盟一流的球員。

在系列賽前5戰皆由主隊勝出的情況下，雷霆1日在主場卻因為失誤過多而錯失了逆轉的機會，最終在延長賽吞下敗仗，並遭到馬刺以4比2淘汰出局。

不過雷霆雙槍杜蘭特(Kevin Durant)和衛斯布魯克(Russell Westbrook)，在這個系列賽所展現的韌性，仍舊得到了不少人的肯定，其中包括馬刺教頭波波維奇和老將吉諾比利(Manu Ginobili)，「他們絕對是一流的球員，我的意思是，他們現在更懂得如何面對輸與贏了，我這樣說是在讚賞他們，很多人在輸球後不懂得如何應對，但他們現在已經能很出色的面對這樣的狀況了。」波波維奇表示。

吉諾比利也說道，「這支球隊擁有很多的天賦、絕佳的體能和未來性，他們是一支很難纏的隊伍，我對於我們能夠擊敗他們感到相當榮幸，要在季後賽面對他們這樣有天賦和高人氣的球隊，真的不簡單，我覺得他們真的很出色。」

而雷霆教頭布魯克斯(Scott Brooks)，在談到球隊表現時也說道，「我們從去年7月起的每一天就相當的努力，試圖要爬上巔峰，但我們差了6場比賽，現在我們仍要抬頭挺胸，繼續走下去。」

「我真的以我們的球員為榮，在今年的季後賽中他們展現了競爭力，即使是在這個系列賽中，我也覺得他們打得很棒了，我們距離擊敗這支球隊只有一點點的差距。」布魯克斯表示。
