300年朴樹 水上擬募款搶救

〔自由時報記者吳世聰／水上報導〕水上鄉水上村外林聚落道將圳旁，有一棵高二十餘公尺、樹圍須三人環抱、樹齡約三百年的朴樹，地主整地打算賣掉，面臨移植，地方發起搶救老樹行動，希望納入嘉縣珍貴老樹保育，但要地主同意，村長蔡宗河出面協調中。

蔡宗河表示，老朴樹所在之處，是奉安宮城隍爺發蹤地，樹有靈氣，不能淪為私人及企業收藏。他聽老一輩轉述，有道將圳就有這棵樹，樹齡約三百年，樹旁舊宅土地已賣掉，新地主只是購地，不包括老朴樹，原共有土地的三名林姓堂兄弟中，有一人賣掉老樹（金額不詳），另二人不同意，老朴樹交易正在司法訴訟中。

蔡宗河說，老朴樹是位於私有地或水利地尚待釐清，挖除遷移也會影響水土保持，鄉親建議老朴樹納入嘉義縣珍貴老樹，原地保育。水上鄉長王啟澧表示，老樹若在私有地上，公權力恐難介入，但地方強烈要求留樹，不排除募款購樹成為「鎮鄉老樹」。

縣府保育科表示，全縣列冊的珍貴老樹有八十九棵，不包括外林聚落老朴樹，公所若申請，縣府將派員會勘，「前提是土地的所有權人要同意」；藝術盆栽業者說，近年有財團及企業家喜愛超大型老樹造景，造成老樹搶手，三百年的老朴樹「至少百萬以上」。
