【時報-台北電】社交網站龍頭臉書的隱私權政策出現重大變革，該公司將給予旗下13億名用戶更多個人資訊的掌控權。臉書創辦人暨執行長查克柏格將這項變革稱為「重大的文化轉變」。

臉書周四表示，新用戶的貼文將預設為只和朋友分享，不再對所有的臉書用戶公開，而現有的臉書用戶則可透過「隱私檢查」功能，讓複雜的隱私設定變得更加簡單。

本次為臉書近幾年來隱私權政策最重大的轉變，查克柏格在年度股東大會上即表示，本次政策修改象徵公司文化出現重要轉變，同時也回應使用者最擔心的問題－隱私權。

臉書透過部落格表示，我們了解不小心將資訊分享予大眾，比分享不足還要糟糕。

在科技公司面臨歐盟越漸嚴格的隱私權規範之際，用戶也日益擔心將日常生活分享至網路造成的潛在影響，臉書為用戶隱私提供更多保障，有助贏得用戶信賴。 (新聞來源：工商時報─記者顏嘉南／綜合外電報導)
