馬籲國人冷靜 找回正向力量

〔自由時報記者施曉光／台北報導〕台北捷運持刀隨機砍人事件引發社會恐慌，馬英九總統昨天傍晚親自召開記者會，呼籲國人保持冷靜、保持友愛、彼此扶持、守望相助，把台灣正向力量找回來、喚回來。

馬英九並指出，這次事件顯示出捷運警力不足的問題，他已經指示行政院，在各個公共運輸系統增加警力，政府會就警力配置、智慧監控、通報體系、演練機制等通盤檢討，給民眾免於恐懼的自由。

馬英九表示，大家都不敢相信，在台灣居然也會發生如此駭人聽聞的慘劇，幾個家庭一夕之間失去至親，他真的非常難過。

他也說，因為黑暗，才更加看到人性的光芒，當時有勇敢的民眾挺身而出，以雨傘甚至肉身擋在凶嫌面前，保護著其他民眾，也有人見義勇為，不顧自身安危，和其他民眾合力制伏凶手，他要大家相信，台灣最引以為傲的就是我們人民的正直與善良。
