Bilzzard 針對《星海爭霸 2》作弊程式工程師提出訴訟

　　根據國外媒體 TorrentFreak 率先披露，知名遊戲廠商 Bilzzard 日前大動作針對開發《星海爭霸 2（StarCraft 2）》作弊程式的駭客，以侵害版權之名，提出法律訴訟。
　　本月 19 日，Bilzzard 向加州地方法院提告，因一群駭客成功開發「ValiantChaos MapHack」作弊程式，直接或間接侵犯這款風靡全球的即時戰略遊戲之著作權，並違法出售作弊設備。國外 ValiantChaos 論壇的玩家可付費 62.50 美元，升級為 VIP，取得這支作弊程式，讓他們在《星海爭霸 2》時，擁有更多的對戰優勢。目前，Bilzzard 仍無法確切指名這群駭客的身分資料，僅在告訴中提及 ValiantChaos 論壇。

　　Bilzzard 所提交的訴訟書中提到，針對這些這些人士採取法律行動，是為了對抗破壞多人線上遊戲的駭客、mods 以及其他未經授權的第三方軟體，保護其他玩家的遊戲體驗。此外，被告所製作的作弊程式已修改遊戲，損及合法玩家權益及遊戲公司本身。

　　另一媒體網站 Kotaku 得到 Bilzzard 針對此事件之回應。Bilzzard 代表談到：「維護遊戲品質是我們的首要任務，我們將採取包括法律訴訟等必要行動，保護遊戲，對抗作弊及其他負面影響。」

　　事實上，Bilzzard 並非首次針對類似事件採取法律動作。於 2010 年，該公司也曾對 3 名程式工程師提告，並凍結終止約 5,000 名在 Battle.net 使用作弊程式遊玩的玩家帳號。
