謝彭配登上球后 史上第10組

謝淑薇與彭帥在馬德里女雙打進四強後，將在下週同時成為雙打世界排名第一的選手，WTA官網報導指出，兩人是史上第10組同享雙打球后的選手。

彭帥在今年稍早成為雙打世界排名第一的選手，而謝淑薇排名第二，兩人搭配出征馬德里，四強積分也讓謝淑薇與彭帥共同登機。

跨國組合都是各自國家通算男、女選手、不論單打或雙打，第一位登上世界排名第一的選手， WTA執行長Stacey Allaster表示：「謝淑薇與彭帥一起成為世界第一是一個偉大的成就。」

Stacey Allaster談到：「不僅是兩人，她們的成就對整個亞太區的球迷是激勵人心的。」

謝淑薇說：「達到世界排名第一的感覺很棒，作為一個團隊，我們非常努力，彭帥先前升上第一時我為她高興，現在我很高興我們能分享它。」

彭帥指出，兩人今年的目標就是要前進新加坡，「與謝淑薇共享世界第一非常好，我們將在接下來的比賽試著達到前往新加坡年終賽的機會。」

官網也列出兩人之前9組共同保有雙打球后的選手：

Lisa Raymond 、 Rennae Stubbs (3週) Virginia Ruano Pascual 、 Paola Suárez (3週) Lisa Raymond 、Samantha Stosur (39週) Cara Black 、 Liezel Huber (127週) Venus Williams 、Serena Williams (8週) Gisela Dulko 、Flavia Pennetta (7週) Kveta Peschke 、Katarina Srebotnik (10週) Liezel Huber 、Lisa Raymond (20週) Sara Errani 、Roberta Vinci (42週)
