美MERS病患 可望很快出院

美國2日宣布發現第一個「中東呼吸道症候群」（MERS）確診病例，印第安納社區醫院5日表示，病患恢復良好，可望很快出院。院方5日同時表示，醫院所有約50名工作人員經檢測後，全對這種病毒均呈陰性反應。確診的病例是一名男性醫療人員，從沙烏地阿拉伯返回印第安納州後發現感染。

沙國衛生部5日宣布，過去48小時，又有18人感染MERS，總病例增至414人，其中115人死亡。感染病毒者許多是外國醫療工作人員。

時距7月麥加朝聖越來越近，屆時將有數百萬外國朝聖者湧入，令當局引以為憂。
