Ira Sohn投資大會經理人報明牌 Shumway：做空人民幣

Ira Sohn 慈善投資大會周一 (5日) 召開，優秀的避險基金經理人匯聚一堂，討論投資理念。《彭博社》報導， Shumway Capital Partners LLC 總裁 Chris Shumway 會中建議，投資人可做空人民幣，買進 Moody's ( (US-MCO) ) 股票。

Shumway 認為，中國現在處理增長緩慢的招數有限，他預期成長率大概在 6% 左右，並持續減速。他們如果想刺激經濟，最簡單的方法就是讓貨幣貶值。

Shumway 看多 Moody's 則主要理由，則在於歐債評級逐步提升之後，可以創造 Moody's 營收成長，股價有可能升至 113 美元。Moody’s 周一收盤上揚 1.48%，股價報 79.74 美元。

《紐約時報》報導，周一參加這次投資大會的，還包括 2008 年促成這個年度會議的 Greenlight Capital 經理人 David Einhorn、Pershing Square 的 William A. Ackman、DoubleLine 的 Jeffrey Gundlach 及 Paul Tudor Jones 等人。

Einhorn 會中直接點名要做空健康護理技術提供商 Athenahealth ( (US-ATHN) ) ，致 Athenahealth ( (US-ATHN) ) 股價盤後慘跌 12.05％，報 111.50 美元。先前這家公司獲 Morgan Stanley 研究肯定，目標價 192 美元，不過 Einhorn 開出的目標價僅 50 美元。

Ackman 則和多數避險基金經理人相同，繼續持有 Fannie ( (US-FNMA) ) 及 Freddie ( (US-FMCC) )，他認為兩家公司股票可達 23 美元，目前價格僅 4 美元左右，他的說法讓兩房股票周一大漲 3% 以上。

Gundlach 則對美國房地產表達悲觀，認為房市存在需求面問題，房價及房貸利率同時上揚，墊高首次購屋門檻，同時，年輕人連買房的頭期款都無法支付，預計房屋自有率會持續下跌。他建議可做空 SPDR標普房屋建商ETF ( Standard & Poor’s Homebuilders’ exchange traded fund)。
