芝加哥PMI 半年來新高

（中央社台北2014年4月30日電）彭博報導，美國4月芝加哥地區商業活動以6個月來最快速度擴張，意味製造業將持續支撐這個全球最大經濟體。

供應管理協會芝加哥分會（ISM Chicago Inc.）今天公布，傳統上稱作芝加哥採購經理人指數（PMI）的商情晴雨指數從3月的55.9提升至63，超越彭博調查經濟師的所有預估值，也創去年10月以來新高。數值高於50意味擴張。

汽車等耐久財和企業設備需求攀升，正帶動占美國經濟比重約12%的製造業成長。就業創造加速將造就工資成長，繼而讓消費支出速度加快，為製造業帶來更多訂單。

彭博調查49名經濟師的預估中值為57，預估值介於54和60.5之間。

根據明天報告出爐前彭博調查的預估中值，美國供應管理協會（ISM）編製的本月全美製造業指數，可能從3月的53.7攀升至54.2。

這份報告顯示，本月接單、生產和人力雇用全都較3月彈升。（譯者：中央社尹俊傑）
