亞馬遜與HBO達成合作協議

（中央社記者顏伶如波特蘭2014年4月23日專電）全美最大網路零售商亞馬遜（Amazon）與HBO電視台達成合作協議，未來亞馬遜Prime付費會員將可收看「黑道家族」等HBO的熱門舊影集。

這是HBO電視台首度同意將影集授權給網路影片提供商，成為美國媒體矚目焦點。

「華爾街日報」今天報導，HBO電視台同意將「黑道家族」（The Sopranos）、「火線重案組」（TheWire）等舊影集，授權提供給亞馬遜網站，讓亞馬遜的Amazon Prime付費會員從下個月起能夠下載收看，不必另外收費。

到目前為止，HBO電視台舊影集的數位版本，只能透過蘋果公司（Apple）的iTunes平台付費購買，或線上租片串流公司Netflix收看。

根據這項專屬協議，HBO電視台不能再與Netflix或Hulu等影片串流商達成同樣的協議。
