NBA／自請退場？活塞總管Dumars將辭職

在位14年，底特律活塞總管Joe Dumars有功、有過，但2013-14年球季的失敗，很可能是壓垮他的最後一根稻草。

根據《底特律新聞》報導，Dumars打算辭去總管職務、不再戀棧，最快在這個星期就會宣布「退場」決定。

今年活塞大張旗鼓，簽下自由球員市場中的大魚Josh Smith、大膽交易來砍將Brandon Jennings，但球隊磨合不如預期，至今只有29勝49敗，即使身處積弱的東區，仍早早與季後賽無緣。

曾是活塞「壞孩子」大將的Dumars在1999年卸下球員身分，2000年入主球團辦公室擔任總管，獲得2002-03年「年度最佳行政」肯定，2004年活塞贏得總冠軍，完成奪冠拼圖的他居功厥偉。

活塞開季前50場只有29勝，Dumars當時力保總教練Maurice Cheeks，老闆Tom Gores依然決定大刀闊斧，但John Loyer接掌兵符後更慘，只有8勝20敗，間接讓Dumars決定掛冠求去。
