熱水器掛屋外，小心被順手牽羊！基隆市2名有毒品等前科的死黨簡姓、周姓中年男子，因缺錢花用，路過1處住宅時，看到外牆上掛著1台熱水器，簡嫌不假思索提議行竊，並由周男把風，迅速地將熱水器拆卸下來，用機車載走，拿到資源回收場賣了500元。

警方查贓時察覺有異，循線查出2嫌，依竊盜罪送辦，因2人均累犯，法官判處簡嫌8個月、周嫌7個月有期徒刑。警方表示，熱水器安裝在外牆上，遭宵小偷走事件時有所聞，也常聽聞要洗熱水澡時，才發現熱水器不翼而飛，「快給氣炸了」事件，呼籲民眾應加以防範。(蔡進男／基隆報導)
